LAC Elevates Algae Taxonomy Capabilities with Advanced Zeiss Axiovert 200 Microscope
LAC is proud to announce the latest addition to our suite of microscopy tools with the addition of a Zeiss Axiovert 200 Inverted Fluorescence DIC Microscope. This state-of-the-art instrument brings a new level of precision to LAC’s algae taxonomy work, offering incredible clarity and resolution for detailed species identification.
This new Zeiss system joins an already robust lineup, including three AmScope IN480 Series Inverted Infinity-Corrected Phase-Contrast Trinocular Compound Microscopes and a high-powered Labo Med 1000x oil immersion microscope. With the ability to capture minute morphological characteristics that were previously difficult to resolve, the Axiovert 200 significantly enhances the accuracy and confidence of our microscopic assessments.
Our commitment to scientific excellence drives continual investment in cutting-edge tools. This addition gives our taxonomists excellent visual detail, enabling precise identifications that support everything from bloom monitoring to long-term ecological studies.
LAC continues to lead in algae monitoring and water quality analysis, offering dependable, science-based insights to clients across industry, government, and research sectors.
