This December, we’re proud to celebrate a significant milestone: 45 years of Larratt Aquatic Consulting!

What began in late 1980 as a two-person operation founded by Bruce and Heather Larratt has grown into an award-winning aquatic science consulting firm. Today, our team consists of nine dedicated professionals and specializes in limnology and freshwater algal taxonomy, with particular expertise in phytoplankton and periphyton analysis. Whether conducting fieldwork or lab work, we remain guided by our commitment to environmental responsibility and the stewardship of local waterways.

This milestone belongs to more than just our current team. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to LAC over the past four and a half decades. Their expertise, dedication, and vision have been instrumental in building our reputation as a trusted partner in aquatic environmental consulting.
